Snow Day
Policy:
Classes do not necessarily follow school closings. On all snowy days, there will be a recorded message on the studio voicemail (617-698-2881) after 12:00 noon with specific information.
       
Dress Code:

In keeping with professional standards, all students are dressed in uniform for each class. Please note that all leotards may be tank, camisole, short or long sleeved. They must be skirtless, and without decorations. Some classes may require special shoes for end-of-season performances.

Pre-School (ages 3&4): light pink leotard and tights, black ballet slippers
Pre-Ballet (ages 5&6): light pink leotard and tights, pink ballet slippers
Pre-Beginner Ballet through Advanced: black leotard, light pink tights and pink ballet slippers
Pre-Tap through 4th yr: black leotard, light pink tights, black tap shoes with straps or elastics
Tap 5th yr through Advanced: black leotard, light pink tights, tan buckle tap shoes with 1" heels
Jazz Beginner through 5th yr: black leotard, light pink tights, tan oxford style jazz shoes
Jazz Intermediate through Advanced: as above, and black jazz pants may be worn

       
Awards:

The following awards are given (with students acknowledged) on stage at our Dance Concert in May:

Five, Ten, Fifteen Year
Five, Ten, Fifteen Year Perfect Attendance
High School Graduate

Note: Make-up classes are not applicable towards Perfect Attendance Awards.

       
In Addition:
Selected, older students may be invited to attend dance workshops sponsored by professional dance teacher organizations during the academic season. Students also may be asked to participate in performances for local activities and events.
       
Scholarships:
Scholarships are available for students in need. Please contact the studio for detailed information.
